TuneCore says Outridge\u2019s appointment in this newly created role \u201cunderscores\u201d the company\u2019s efforts to use technology to \u201chelp creators grow their careers amid the rapidly changing landscape of the music industry.\u201d<\/p>\n

Outridge comes to TuneCore with over 15 years experience in leading teams, defining product market, and expanding product offerings internationally at start-ups and larger companies.<\/p>\n

She has built consumer and B2B2C experiences in entertainment and social data and publishing platform at Facebook [396 articles]” href=”https:\/\/www.musicbusinessworldwide.com\/companies\/facebook\/”>Facebook<\/a> (Meta), iHeartMedia [122 articles]” href=”https:\/\/www.musicbusinessworldwide.com\/companies\/iheartmedia\/”>iHeart<\/a>Radio, and KickApps.<\/p>\n

Outridge developed her career as an engineer, and later a product and engineering leader.<\/p>\n

She joins TuneCore from her position as the Chief Product Officer and Entrepreneur-In-Residence of Two Canoes in New York City.<\/p>\n

At Two Canoes, Outridge helped create blockchain-based e-commerce and loyalty platform solutions in the real estate, retail and hospitality industries.<\/p>\n

Outridge has also worked closely with global start-ups and larger companies such as Facebook, where she was the Senior Project Management Lead, iHeartRadio, serving as the company\u2019s Director of Product Management, (Social & Innovation) and KickApps, where she was Vice President, Product Management.<\/p>\n

In the coming year, says TuneCore, the company will be introducing \u2018Splits\u2019, a tool for artists and labels to help streamline accounting and coordinate pay outs to all contributors on song collaborations.<\/p>\n

The company also recently announced an overhauled<\/a> pricing structure for indie artists by introducing \u2018Unlimited Release Pricing Plans\u2019.<\/p>\n

The plans allow artists and labels to distribute an unrestricted amount of music to DSPs each year for a single annual price.<\/p>\n
