North America-based live promoter Outback Presents has acquired Robomagic Live, which was founded by former AEG President Rob Hallett. 2015.
In a media statement announcing the news, the two companies say they will work together to expand their global touring offerings.
Robomagic Live operates in the UK and Europe, and is a strand of the Robomagic business founded by Hallett in 2015.
Outback and Robomagic Live claim that they have a “joint mission to create more equitable touring opportunities in partnership with artists.”
More details about the partnership will be released in the coming weeks, according to the announcement.
In 2019, Vaughn Millette launched Outback Presents with Mike Smarkdak, the founder of the Nashville-based Outback Concerts.
In that time, Outback Presents reports to have gone from a few hundred to a few thousand shows a year.
Hallett has worked with the likes of Prince, Duran Duran, Leonard Cohen and the Sex Pistols, and was a backer of independent UK festival Standon Calling in 2015.
