Anthony De Padua promoted to Vice President, Digital Marketing at RCA Records

Anthony De Padua has been promoted to Vice President, Digital Marketing at RCA Records.

De Padua started at RCA Records in 2020 as Director, Digital Marketing.

RCA says that De Padua has delivered campaigns for artists and projects including Latto, Nardo Wick, Wizkid, Young Nudy, The Judas & the Black Messiah: The Inspired Album and Bryson Tiller.

Before joining RCA, De Padua spent time at Atlantic Records [522 articles]” href=”https://www.musicbusinessworldwide.com/companies/access-industries/warner-music-group/atlantic-records/”>Atlantic Records.

He started his career as an Assistant in the International Department at Atlantic, before moving to the Digital Marketing Department.

There, he worked on campaigns for artists such as Cardi B, Jack Harlow, Burna Boy, Portugal. The Man, Cordae, Pardison Fontaine and Lil Skies.

 

De Padua joins a raft of recent hires and promotions at RCA.

In October, Jamie Abzug was appointed Senior Vice President and Head of Publicity at the company.

In Septmber, Val Pensa was named Senior Vice President, Head of Marketing, while, in the same month, Carolyn Williams took on the role of Executive Vice President at the company.


In other RCA Records news, last month RCA launched its first Asia division in Greater China.

The label, RCA said at the time, will focus on signing artists in the Greater China region, and was launched to expand the company’s presence across the region and to broaden commercial opportunities across streaming, gaming, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, NFTs and the Metaverse.Music Business Worldwide
